Announcing the launch of Department of International Affairs and CRIETO Tokyo site.
We are proud to announce the launch of the Department of International Affairs. From its very first day on August 1st, the objectives of this new department will be to provide a place for open innovation, to strengthen the pipeline, to cultivate human resources and to create internationally competitive development. We seek to make the CRIETO Tokyo site the hub for development consultation around the Tokyo area while simultaneously expanding the support for the seeds from other universities, enhancing solidarity with companies, and promoting seed development.

On August 1, 2017, I, Dr. Yuka Suzuki became Director of the Department of International Affairs for Tohoku University. I bring extensive experience in governmental review and regulation of medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, and other clinical products at the international and domestic levels. One of my goals is to develop CRIETO into a globally engaged academic research organization. I appreciate and seek guidance and encouragement from the university community to achieve this goal.
